The Cracking

This solitary woman

with her two-fisted

words smooth as ice

plunged among the brittle

trunks of prattling trees.

Their silence sent skittering

under a twang of gray sky

full of thoughts and nerves.

Thanks for staying with me everyone. I promise I'll visit soon.

I always find your descriptions in poetry to be so unique. Language. Words. They are all there for one to create and put together. Seems so simple; yet not. And yet you do it so beautifully and dramatically that you make it seem effortless.

A powerful poem about a powerful
woman, a natural Goddess. Hope you are feeling well White Rose.

For myself...these are sturdy words describing silent anger and how it can eat you up inside.

Wow, White Rose. I love this - especially the last 3 lines! I love what those words choices sound in my mouth as I read this aloud. This is just great work. Kudos!
