I Have a Confession

I have a confession, I’m a complete dork! I grew up reading sci-fi and fantasy books, Tolkien, Frank Herbert, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Roger Zelazny, Mary Stuart, Anne McCaffery and many, many more…and yes I played D&D. See I told you I was a dork! I also love sci-fi shows just about all the Star Trek series, the old and new Battlestar Galactica, and Firefly (the crème de la crème of sci-fi shows). They’re just good campy fun! So of course, I was happy to see the new Doctor Who series. Campy+sci-fi=I’m hooked, throw in a hot looking guy with a British accent=Nirvana. Hey, they had me at campy!

So, to get to the point of all this late night rambling, this morning I was dreaming I was:

Shagging the Doctor
He morphed into Brett Michaels
Ugh! Stop the Tardis

How could such a promising dream go so horribly awry? Yikes, what a nightmare, from David Tennant, to a balding, has been lead singer of a mediocre 80’s hair band! Were there any good 80’s hair bands? I guess, Every Rose has its Thorns! Sorry, I couldn’t help myself! Sweet dreams everyone!
