Hope

from Deviant Art

hope...

I’ll wrap myself in the idea of

it, a diaphanous robe bedecked

in wished upon stars.

Passing it along to upturned

faces, tongues darting in

the clean radiance.

Translated…

A shimmering bridge spanned

across a slate sea,

whistling through the

green grasses,

shining from every

street sign, a collective

breath

exhaled.

I really like "clean radiance" and the end is really great. A good read.

Did you take that photo? It's wonderful...as for hope, I'm beginning to lose a little as I watch the goings-ons of the presidential race. What is it with this country???!!!

Lovely, white rose! And the music is ethereal, beautiful! Linking?
I'd be most flattered. You're already on my blog list. What is the difference? (a computer techy,
not!) Buona giornata!

Hey June, no I didn't take the photo. I got it off of deviant art, isn't great, like an upturned face.

and I think I wrote this poem because of the way this election seems to be going. I'm not giving up yet!

Hey Cynthia,

That sounds like fun. I'm hoping our power won't go out, but it looks like that is just wishful thinking. I will let you know as soon as I can.
